Rebecca's Blog...

"My sister Louise Winstanley suffers with the rare condition Short Bowel Syndrome. On a daily basis I see the impact & effects this has on her and the people closest to her. This has led me to embark on the challenge of completing the Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday 18th March 2012 at 09.30. I have been training since December 2011 and I am to complete the 13.1 mile run within two hours thirty minutes.

I hope to raise a minimum of £200.00 and my target can be met if all my family and friends donate just £5, which would be an amazing achievement, 100% of all monies donated will go directly to the charity. Your donations will be used to provide information, help and some financial support for the families with babies and young children suffering from Short Bowel Syndrome and some funding towards research into better treatments for the future.

"During the 13.1 miles distance I had to dig deep towards the end and simply thoughts of my family and this Charity kept me going through the sweat, tiredness and pain".
